Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a gentle, rhythmic massage technique that stimulates the body's lymphatic system - the network responsible for removing waste, reducing swelling, and supporting immune health. Using light, precise movements, MLD encourages lymph flow to reduce puffiness or fluid retention, ease pain from inflammation, and support detoxification, recovery, and healing. It is beneficial for people recovering from injury or surgery, managing chronic conditions like fibromyalgia, Lyme disease, sinusitis, or gastrointestinal disorders, headaches, PMS, eczema, acne, fatigue, long COVID symptoms or immune suppression.
Important: MLD is a gentle and effective therapy, but your safety comes first. If you have a medical condition or are under a doctor's care, please obtain medical clearance before beginning treatment.
Absolute Contraindications (you may NOT receive MLD) include: acute infection, untreated or active cancer, acute deep vein thrombosis or blood clots, congestive heart failure, acute renal (kidney) failure.
